Former world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua has broken his silence following the road crash in Nigeria that claimed the lives of his two close friends.
The boxer sustained minor injuries in the accident, which occurred on the Lagos–Ibadan expressway in Ogun State on December 29, 225.
Joshua’s personal trainer, Kevin Latif Ayodele, and the boxer’s strength and conditioning coach, Sina Ghami, died in the accident.
However, the boxer shared his first public message since the tragedy across his social media accounts on Sunday, January 4, 2026.
Posting pictures of himself standing alongside the grieving families of Sina and Latz, he captioned the photo: “My Brothers Keeper ❤️🪖❤️”
