My daughter didn’t give her brother drugs’ — Ilebaye’s mother

The mother of former Big Brother Naija winner Ilebaye Odiniya has dismissed allegations made by the reality star’s father, Mr. Odiniya, accusing their daughter of giving drugs to her younger brother and undergoing cosmetic surgery.

Speaking amid the ongoing family controversy, she described the claims as false and an attempt to tarnish Ilebaye’s image following the reality star’s emotional live video appeal.

Reacting to allegations that Ilebaye gave her 14-year-old brother drugs which allegedly led to his expulsion from school, the mother said the incident had been misrepresented.

According to her, the boy had found an empty pen-shaped shisha device in Ilebaye’s room while she was away and took it to school out of curiosity to ask classmates if they knew what it was.

She explained that another student reported the matter to school authorities, after which the issue was investigated and resolved without disciplinary expulsion.

“The father just lied on this innocent boy and for people to be using one kind of eye to be looking at this innocent child, just because he wants to spoil the name of his daughter,” she said.

She added that the family visited the Commissioner of Police’s office, where the boy reportedly clarified that the object was not drugs.

“They did not even expel him. We were in the CP’s office today and the boy testified that it wasn’t drug,” she stated.

The mother questioned the allegation against her daughter, asking, “Is Ilebaye stupid to give a 14-year-old child drugs?”

She further alleged that Ilebaye’s father had previously threatened her on several occasions, but she did not expect the matter to escalate into public accusations against the reality star.

Addressing claims that Ilebaye secretly underwent cosmetic surgery, the mother also denied the allegation, insisting there had been no physical alteration to her daughter’s appearance.

“It is a lie. Does her face or body look like someone who underwent cosmetic surgery?” she said, urging critics to compare Ilebaye’s old and recent photos.

The controversy follows a series of public accusations and counterclaims involving the reality TV star and members of her family.
