The naira depreciated against the United States dollar on Monday, November 3, 2025, trading between about N1,440 and N1,515 in parallel market.
The naira also traded at N1,421.73 to the dollar on the Nigerian Foreign Exchange Market (NFEM) on Monday, according to data released by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).
Across the parallel market in Lagos and other major cities, traders quoted a range for the dollar between about N1,440 and N1,515 depending on location and volume.

The figures are above the official NFEM average but vary by source and time of day.
The NFEM rate — the volume-weighted average used by the CBN as the official counter — stood at N1,421.73 per $1 on Monday. This rate is the baseline for banks and formal FX transactions.
