Naira trades N1,658/$ at official market

The naira closed at the rate of N1,658.48 against the United States dollar at the official market on Tuesday, September 24, 2024.

Data from the official trading platform of the FMDQ Exchange, a platform that oversees the Nigerian Autonomous Foreign Exchange Market (NAFEM), showed that the naira gained N1.18.

CBN: Petrol lifting from Dangote refinery’ll ease transport costs, food prices

It represents a 6.13 per cent gain when compared to the trading on Monday, September 23, when the local currency closed at N1,659.66 to a dollar.

The naira traded at an intra-day high of N1,682.00 and a low of N1,570.00 to a dollar on Tuesday.
