Napoli reduce Osimhen asking price to £85m as Man Utd move for Morata

Napoli have lowered the asking price for Nigeria striker Victor Osimhen to £85 million instead of the initial £100 million release clause following a lack of offers, according to Calcio Mercato.

Other reports in Italy state that Napoli would agree to a player-swap deal with Manchester United, which will see Mason Greenwood join the former Serie A champions, with Osimhen heading in the opposite direction.

A Saudi Arabian-funded group has emerged as the frontrunner to buy Monaco but the potential takeover could hinge on whether the French side would be judged as a sister club of Newcastle United.

Manchester United hope to have a new deal secured with manager Erik ten Hag before their summer tour of the USA begins in the middle of July, by when Ruud van Nistelrooy could be a part of his backroom staff.

‘Not good at all’: NFF denies banning Osimhen from Super Eagles

Manchester United are working overtime in a bid to sign Netherlands star Joshua Zirkzee ahead of top-flight rivals Arsenal and Italian giants AC Milan, Sky Sports reports.

Premier League clubs’ operating profits took a sizeable hit in the 2022-23 season with pre-tax losses also rising sharply, according to new figures from Deloitte.

Manchester United are talking to Alvaro Morata’s representatives as they weigh up a bargain move for the former Chelsea forward, according to a report in Turkey.

Everton Women are set to complete a double signing from Sevilla with Nigeria forward Toni Payne and Spain midfielder Inma Gabarro poised to arrive in the WSL.

Rangers are ready to make a move for Scotland star Kenny McLean if he is made available by new Norwich City boss Johannes Hoff Thorup.

Celtic’s search for a new goalkeeper might have to continue without Fenerbahce No 1 Dominik Livakovic as the Turkish club are struggling to replace the Scottish champions’ target.
