The operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have arrested a wanted female drug kingpin, who was identified as a major illicit drug distributor in Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State.
The NDLEA spokesman, Femi Babafemi, disclosed this via a statement issued on Sunday, January 4, 2025.
Babafemi said the 65-year-old woman, Fatima Ilori, popularly known as Mama Kerosine, was nabbed in an intelligence-led operation on December 29, 2025, following the seizure of 238.4kg skunk, a strain of cannabis, linked to her.

He said the woman was arrested along with another 35-year-old female suspect, Olusanya Abosede, at Onireke/Elekuro area of Ibadan.
The NDLEA spokesman added that the supply chain of illicit drugs to insurgents was also disrupted with the arrest of two suppliers and seizure of large consignments of illicit substances.

Babafemi disclosed that one of the suspects, Isa Mohammed, 26, was arrested by NDLEA operatives following the interception of 9,150 ampoules of Tramadol Injection along Maiduguri-Gamboru Ngala Road on Friday, January 2, 2026, while the other suspect, Musa Samaila, 30, was apprehended with 34,000 capsules of Tramadol at Biu market on Friday.
