The operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have intercepted 66 parcels of Loud, a strong strain of cannabis, packaged as green tea at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Ikeja, Lagos State.
The illicit drugs were intercepted at the import shed of the Lagos airport on Thursday, June 5, 2025.
The NDLEA Director of Media and Advocacy, Femi Babafemi, who disclosed this via a statement on Sunday, said the seizure was based on credible intelligence received ahead of the arrival of the consignment at the cargo wing of the Lagos airport on May 11.
