The presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi, has won Saturday’s presidential in Delta State.
According to the result announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on Tuesday, Obi garnered 341,866 votes to defeat Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), who scored 161,600 votes.
Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC) came a distant third with 90,183 votes, while Rabiu Kwankwaso of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) polled 3,122 votes to occupy the fourth position.

According to INEC, out of 667,149 accredited voters, 654,650 votes were recorded.
The electoral umpire said 615,341 votes were recorded as valid, while 39,309 votes were rejected.
The vice-presidential candidate of the PDP, Ifeanyi Okowa, is the incumbent governor of Delta State.
