Nigerian-born creative and wellbeing accelerator, Oluwaseun Dosunmu, has launched The Care Inn Spa x The Wellbeing, Arts and Culture Centre in Bradford, West Yorkshire, United Kingdom — a first-of-its-kind hub blending wellness, art, and culture into a single holistic experience.
In a statement shared with Sunday Scoop, the initiative was described as a groundbreaking space designed to promote physical and mental health, creativity, and community connection. The launch event drew creatives, wellness professionals, and art enthusiasts from Bradford, Leeds, and Manchester, who praised the concept as a refreshing and innovative approach to wellbeing and artistic expression.
Speaking at the unveiling, Dosunmu said the project marks the realisation of a lifelong dream. “When I was younger, I used to organise group tours in Lagos that included visits to museums, art galleries, and culture centres. Being a trained massage therapist, I always dreamt of owning a wellbeing space. Today, that dream has come true,” he said.
According to him, the centre is designed to enhance the wellbeing of creatives through spa treatments, cultural engagement, and artistic collaboration. It will also serve as a platform for mental health advocacy, skill development, and partnerships with creatives, wellness experts, and government agencies.
Dosunmu expressed optimism that the centre’s fusion of creativity, cultural identity, and holistic wellness would make it a key destination for artists, wellness practitioners, and community members across Northern England.
