Kenechukwu Oluwanifemi Uba, a student of Caleb International College, Magodo, Lagos, has emerged as the “Top in World” candidate in the November 2024 Cambridge IGCSE English as a Second Language (Speaking Endorsement).

Her outstanding performance earned her the Outstanding Cambridge Learners Award, presented by Cambridge University Press & Assessment during a ceremony organised with the British Council at the Civic Centre, Lagos.

The certificate was signed by Rod Smith, Group Managing Director of International Education at Cambridge.

In a statement, the Proprietor of Caleb Group of Schools and University, Dr. Oladega Adebogun, described the feat as a reflection of the school’s values of integrity, perseverance and innovation.

He noted that the institution invests heavily in modern teaching methods, including flipped classrooms and AI-driven language labs, to prepare students for global competitiveness.

Uba expressed gratitude to her teachers, classmates, and family, crediting her preparation in the school’s language lab for boosting her confidence.
