NNPC raises petrol price to N992/litre in Lagos

The Nigerian National Petroleum Company (NNPC) Limited has increased the pump price of Premium Motor Spirit, fondly called petrol, to N992 per litre in Lagos.

The NNPC Limited also increase petrol price to N955 per litre in Abuja, the nation’s capital.

The new price took effect across several NNPC Limited retail outlets in Lagos and Abuja on Monday, October 13, 2025.

FG orders VCs to enforce ‘no work, no pay’ rule on striking lecturers

The price hike shows an increase of N127 in Lagos from the previous rate of N865 per litre, and a N65 increase in Abuja from the previous price of N890 per litre.
