The Nigerian National Petroleum Company (NNPC) Limited has again reduced the pump price of Premium Motor Spirit, otherwise known as petrol, at its retail outlets in Lagos and Abuja.
The NNPC Limited reduced petrol pump price to N865 per litre in Lagos and N890 per litre in Abuja, the nation’s capital.
The price reduction represents a N10 cut in both cities from the previous prices of N875 per litre and N900 per litre, respectively.

Checks on Friday, August 15, 2025, revealed that petrol was sold for N865 per litre at NNPC’s retail outlets in Lagos and N890 per litre in Abuja.
The latest development comes after the national oil company reduced petrol pump price to N875 per litre in Lagos and N900 in Abuja on August 6.
It would also be recalled that Dangote Petroleum Refinery, on Tuesday, August 12, reduced its ex-depot petrol price to N820 per litre from N850 per litre.
