NNPCL gifts N200,000 voucher to lady mocked for cooking for husband at 4am

The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) has gifted a N200,000 voucher to a lady identified as ‘Mummy Zee’ who was criticised on X (formerly Twitter) for waking up at 4:50 a.m. to cook for her husband.

The lady had revealed that the reason for her waking up that early was because her husband told her how he had been eating the food of his female colleague at work.

The lady, in a post on her X account, said: “I’ve always been too lazy to wake up and get his lunch ready. But the day he told me a colleague brought two spoons so he’ll eat with her, was the day I set my alarm for 4:50am.”

Her tweet generated mixed reactions from X users, who questioned why she had to wake up that early to cook, while others hailed her for her exceptional wife duties.

The lady has also gotten over N2 million in donations from individuals on social media.

The NNPCL stated: “Hello @_Debbie_OA, we love your amazing love story, and we would like to gift you a free ₦200,000 PMS voucher redeemable at any of our 900+ retail stations nationwide.

“This will ensure that Mummy Zee has #EnergyforToday and #EnergyforTomorrow. We have just followed you. Please check your DM. Best wishes.”

Infinix Nigeria has also offered its latest device, Infinix Hot 40, to the Nigerian lady.

The smartphone company announced this in a post on its X handle on Saturday.

It tweeted:”Hi, #_Debbie_OA we love that you use one of our phones currently.

“With that in mind, we would love you to experience the features of our latest device: The Infinix Hot 40 How does that sound?”

Responding to the tweet, the lady wrote: “Dear #InfinixNigeria Hope it’s for me and my husband?”
