Northern governors and traditional rulers are currently holding a meeting in Kaduna over some issues affecting the region.
The meeting is holding at the Kaduna Government House in Kaduna.
Key issues, including the lingering insecurity poverty, a high rate of out-of-school children, and other socioeconomic challenges affecting the region, are expected to be discussed at the meeting.

Some of the governors in attendance include those of Zamfara, Kebbi, Gombe, and Kaduna States, among others.
Traditional rulers present are the Sultan of Sokoto, Emirs of Zazzau, Zamfara, Bauchi, Ilorin, and Katsina, among others.
The meeting will be chaired by the Chairman of the Northern Governors Forum and Gombe State Governor, Inuwa Yahaya, while Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani will deliver his welcome address as the chief host.
