The Nigerian Railway Corporation (NRC) has announced that train services on the Warri–Itakpe corridor, which were recently suspended, will soon resume.

In a statement issued on Friday in Lagos, the NRC’s Chief Public Relations Officer, Callistus Unyimadu, explained that operations were halted to allow urgent track repairs to ensure passenger safety, reliability, and comfort.

He noted that work on the affected sections had reached an advanced stage and that normal train services would recommence shortly.
