The Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate in the 2023 election, Peter Obi, is currently in a closed meeting with Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed.
The reason behind Obi’s visit to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governor has yet to be ascertained as of fhe time of filing this report.
However, it is expected that the duo would address journalists on the agenda immediately after the meeting.

The meeting between Obi and Mohammed is coming amid political permutations ahead of the 2027 general election.
Obi, a former governor of Anambra State, came third in the 2023 presidential election won by Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
