One person has been confirmed dead in a building collapse in the Ojodu-Berger area of Lagos State.
The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) confirmed this via a statement issued by its Coordinator, Lagos Territorial Office, Ibrahim Farinloye, on Saturday, April 19, 2025.
Farinloye added that 12 persons had been rescued so far from the rubble of the three-storey building.

Farinloye said the cause of the collapsed was yet to be ascertained.
