One person has been killed while many others were injured after a truck rammed into market on Lagos-Ibadan expressway in Ogun State.
The accident occurred around OPIC Bus Stop on the Lagos-Ibadan expressway on Wednesday morning.
It was gathered that the truck, which reportedly suffered a brake failure, was inbound Ibadan, the capital Oyo State.
A tea seller was said to have died in the incident, while a yet-to-be-ascertained unconfirmed number of people were injured.

One of the eyewitnesses disclosed that he had just bought tea from the victim, saying: “I’m the security man of this place.
“Every morning, I sit with my people before they open for the day because I work at night.”
Emergency responders and local authorities have arrived at the scene and the truck driver has been arrested and held in the custody of the Isheri Tactical Unit as investigations commence.
