The operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have arrested a 44-year-old woman, Yinka Agboola, and a 26-year-old ex-convict, Gaddafi Ammani, for alleged drug dealing.

The NDLEA Director of Media and Advocacy, Femi Babafemi, disclosed this in a statement issued on Sunday, January 18, 2026.

Babafemi said Agboola was apprehended in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja, on Friday, January 16, following intelligence on her online sale of illicit substances.

Babafemi stated that 2.2kg skunk and litres of cannabis oil which the woman produces in her kitchen and sells through online advertisement were recovered from her home in the Kaura area of Abuja.

Wanted drug kingpin arrested 12 years after killing 3 NDLEA officers

The NDLEA spokesman disclosed that another 30-year-old suspect, Tordue Richard, was arrested on Tuesday with 148.3 grams of cocaine and skunk at his residence in Abacha Estate, Abuja.

He added that Ammani was arrested with various quantities of skunk and exol-5 pills along his accomplice Ahmed Sani, 32, at Nassarawa GRA, Ringim Local Government Area of Jigawa State on Saturday, January 17.

Babafemi noted that before the ex-convict’s arrest, he attempted to escape by climbing the roofs of many houses in his bid to escape.

He said the suspect was armed with a machete which he used to threaten NDLEA operatives and even inflicted injury on one of the officers.
