Ooni marries 6th wife, Princess Temitope

Ooni of Ife, Oba Enitan Ogunwusi, has married his sixth wife, Temitope Adesegun Ogunwusi.

Ooni tied the knot with Ogunwusi, who hails from Ijebu in Ogun State, on Monday at a ceremony held in Magodo, Lagos State.

The latest development comes barely four days after Ooni married his fifth wife, Princess Aderonke Ademiluyi, who hails from a royal family, in Ile-Ife, Osun State.

The traditional ruler had earlier married Mariam Anako from Kogi State and Ashley Adegoke, who hails from Lafogido royal house in Ile-Ife.

The other wives of Ooni include Elizabeth Akinmuda and Tobi Phillips.

The monarch had earlier married Adebukola Bombata in 2008 but the marriage failed.

He later married Edo-born Zainab-Otiti Obanor in 2016 but the union lasted for 17 months before their separation.

The traditional ruler married Naomi Silekunola in 2018 but the marriage ended in 2021.

Princess Temitope, who is the Chief Executive Officer of Hopes Alive Initiatives, hails from Adesegun Ibipe Royal Dynasty of Ago-Iwoye in Ijebu North Local Government Area of Ogun State.

She has a Diploma in Linguistics from the University of Lagos (UNILAG), Akoka, Lagos State.

The new monarch’s wife also has a Diploma in Data Processing from UNILAG and Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the same university.
