Ose Anenih, son of the late Chief Tony Anenih, former Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has formally resigned from the party.
In a letter dated August 18, 2025, and addressed to the PDP Ward Chairman of Arue Ward 3 in Uromi, Edo State, Anenih said his decision followed deep personal reflection and takes effect immediately.
He noted that although he had remained committed to the PDP through its highs and lows, he was stepping back from partisan politics to focus on his family and other pressing responsibilities.
“This decision was not made lightly,” he wrote, adding that he would remain engaged in civic discourse to promote good governance and national progress.
Anenih expressed gratitude to party leaders and members for their support over the years and wished the PDP success in its future endeavours.
