Osinbajo, Amaechi, 18 APC aspirants strategise for Tinubu

No fewer than 22 presidential aspirants who participated in the All Progressives Congress primaries where Bola Tinubu as flag-bearer will converge in Abuja on August 31 to meet with the APC presidential candidate.

This was contained in a statement issued on Thursday by the media team of an aspirant, Nicolas Felix.

Felix stated that all the aspirants who participated in the last presidential convention would be in attendance.

“The special invitation to the strategic meeting of all 2023 APC presidential aspirants, which will be held at Transcorp Hilton in Abuja, on Wednesday, August 31st, 2022 by 2 pm is to brainstorm on adopting winning campaign strategies that will carry every Nigerian along and address the challenges bedevilling our country,” he noted.

This is coming amidst Tinubu’s political romance with Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State which many within the party argued will sideline the runner-up in the primaries, Rotimi Amaechi.

The alleged pact between the two is coming to light following weeks of speculation and moves shrouded in secrecy.

Wike and Tinubu met in London alongside their associates.
