The governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the forthcoming gubernatorial election in Osun State, Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji, has pledged academic scholarship from elementary up to the university level for the seven-month old baby of the slain APC member who lost his life to the motor accident that occurred recently in the Ede area of the state.

Oyebamiji also announced the facilitation of permanent employments for the wife of the deceased and a member of his family.

It would be recalled that trailer rammed into the APC members during a peaceful canvassers inauguration in Ede-North Local Government Area of Osun State on June 23, 2026.

The incident claimed the life of a member of the APC, Ahmed Abdulrazak, while many others were injured.

However, the APC flag-bearer, during a condolence visit to the bereaved family, disclosed the readiness to support them particularly the child of the deceased.
