The Founder of Living Faith Church Worldwide, Bishop David Oyedepo, has declared a seven-day midnight prayer campaign against terrorists and their alleged sponsors.
Oyedepo said Nigeria is under spiritual and physical siege and must be rescued through urgent intercession.
Addressing worshippers during the 4th Pre-Shiloh Encounter Service on Sunday, November 23, 2025, the cleric condemned the surge in bandit attacks, kidnappings, and assaults on churches and communities, describing the incidents as “unacceptable” and a “direct assault on innocent lives.”
“12 midnight tonight, the operation begins. Satan is in trouble. Its agents and it is arrayed, in the name of Jesus. Any member of this church touched, equals fire and brimstone, in the camp of the enemy. I’m saying so by the Holy Ghost. Go and try it,” Oyedepo stated.
He lamented recent killings, including the shooting of worshippers and mass abductions, saying kidnappers had turned human lives into “big-time business” by demanding outrageous ransoms from struggling communities.

“The Church of Christ in Nigeria is indestructible. Nigeria will never become an Islamic state. Never,” he said, insisting that spiritual forces were behind the crisis and must be confronted.
Oyedepo also invoked curses on terrorists and their alleged sponsors, saying: “Every perpetrator of these killings and their sponsors come under a curse today.”
To counter the escalating insecurity, Oyedepo instructed all Living Faith members and Christians nationwide to join a seven-day prayer chain beginning at midnight.
He said the intensive prayers, especially in tongues, would “send angels on assignment” against the camp of the wicked.
“There will be catastrophes. There shall be catastrophes. In the camp of the wicked, there shall be catastrophes,” Oyedepo said.
He also directed congregants to anoint their homes and business premises daily as spiritual protection.
“Everyone of you, anoint your houses and your business places. Sprinkle the blood as a no-go area. Human trade has become worse than slavery. Anyone behind it — within seven days — they are smelling,” the cleric declared.
Oyedepo vowed that any further attacks on church members would provoke immediate spiritual consequences, stressing that the season of unchecked violence was over.
“As the Lord lives, this shall not continue. Any member of this church touched equals fire and brimstone in the camp of the enemy,” he said, urging Christians to take up what he called their “spiritual responsibility” for Nigeria.
