President Bola Tinubu has congratulated the Founder and Presiding Bishop of Living Faith Church Worldwide, David Oyedepo, on his 72nd birthday.

Oyedepo clocked 72 on Sunday, September 27.

In a statement issued by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, Tinubu described the cleric as a prominent voice on faith, leadership, integrity, education and human development.

The President commended Oyedepo’s decades of ministry and his emphasis on values such as discipline, diligence, responsibility, integrity and excellence.

Tinubu also highlighted the cleric’s contributions to education and human-capital development through institutions including Covenant University and Landmark University, noting their roles in academic excellence, leadership development, entrepreneurship and innovation.

According to the President, Oyedepo’s influence extends beyond the pulpit to education, publishing, leadership development and humanitarian activities, with the Living Faith Church maintaining an international presence.

“Bishop David Oyedepo has devoted decades to preaching faith, promoting integrity and encouraging excellence, while investing substantially in education and the development of human capacity,” Tinubu said.

The President also acknowledged social-development initiatives associated with Oyedepo’s ministry and the David Oyedepo Foundation, including schools, healthcare facilities and humanitarian interventions.

Tinubu joined Oyedepo’s family, members of Living Faith Church and the Christian community in celebrating the cleric, while praying for continued wisdom, strength, good health and renewed grace.

“I wish Bishop Oyedepo many more years of fulfilment, good health and continued service to God and humanity,” the President said.
