The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has again predicted how he would eventually die.
Adeboye had, in a sermon at the RCCG Holy Ghost Congress in Ogun State in December 2023, predicted his death.
Adeboye said if rapture does not occur soon, he would die on a Sunday after eating pounded yam.
Speaking on the fourth day of the church’s ongoing International Convention on Thursday night, the revered cleric restated his vision of how he believes he will pass away.
He said he would die on a Sunday after attending church service and eating his favourite meal, pounded yam.
“I will die on a Sunday after attending service, eat my beloved pounded yam, and then pass on without any sickness,” Pastor Adeboye said.
Adeboye added that he first shared this vision two years ago and was repeating it to reassure believers that death can be peaceful for those in Christ.

The Star recalls that the cleric, in 2023, said he would die the way one of his uncles died after church service.
Narrating how his uncle gave up the ghost, Adeboye said he (His uncle) died in his house after dancing at a church service.
He revealed that his uncle died inside a toilet while the wife was preparing his meal, adding that the deceased was not sick before his demise.
Adeboye said: “After he finished pounding the yam, he knocked at the door of the toilet. When they opened the door, my uncle was gone; no sickness, no ache, no pain.
“I know somebody will say, if we are never sick, how are we going to die and go to heaven? You don’t need to be sick to go to heaven.
“If the Lord tarries His coming, I will go on a Sunday after a good meal of pounded yam.”
