Peller breaks silence on YCee criticism

Popular streamer and content creator Peller has responded to rapper YCee amid the ongoing “Olodo Uprising” controversy, saying the criticism against him is driven by people who want him to abandon his career.

Speaking on the backlash, Peller said he has become frustrated by the constant attacks but remains determined to continue creating content.

He clarified that he has no personal issues with YCee, explaining that while he knows the rapper’s songs, they have never met.

Peller also alleged that several celebrities who now criticise him publicly had previously approached him for promotional collaborations.

According to him, such requests are handled by his management team, which responds by sending his rate card.

He claimed that after discovering they could not afford his fees, some of those celebrities resorted to taking jabs at him on podcasts and social media.

Despite the criticism, Peller insisted he would not be distracted from his career.

“Your hatred got nothing on me. I swear to God, I’m frustrated. People want me to be thinking. They want me to quit my career. Am I the only one? I know YCee’s music but I don’t know his face. These celebrities message me for PR, but it’s my management that always replies them and gives them my rate card. When they see that they can’t pay me because it’s too expensive, they go on podcasts to shade me,” he said.
