Peller, Jarvis expecting first child two months after wedding

Nigerian content creators Peller and Jarvis are expecting their first child, just two months after their civil wedding in Lagos.

The couple announced the pregnancy on Thursday through an Instagram post featuring photographs of Jarvis showing her baby bump.

Dressed in matching white outfits, the couple posed together against an ocean backdrop as they shared the news with their followers.

Jarvis described the pregnancy as a major blessing for the couple, saying their journey from being a young couple to becoming husband and wife and now parents had been marked by “laughter, tears, prayers and growth.”

“From two people who once had no idea where this journey would take us… to husband and wife, and now soon to be parents,” she wrote.

“A little piece of our love is coming into this world. Our greatest blessing. Our answered prayer.”

The announcement comes months after the couple, who are popular on TikTok, got married in a civil ceremony in Lagos on July 29.

Their pregnancy announcement also comes after social media speculation shortly after their wedding, when some fans claimed Jarvis was already pregnant based on changes in her appearance.

The couple at the time dismissed the speculation, attributing her weight gain to late-night meals.

The latest announcement has now confirmed that the couple are expecting their first child.
