The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has brought the detained former Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Godwin Emefiele, to the Abuja High Court sitting in Maitama.
Justice Olukayode Adeniyi had earlier ordered the EFCC to either release the embattled CBN Governor who has been in detention since June 9 unconditionally or produce him in court to be granted bail.
Justice Adeniyi ordered the anti-graft agency to either release or produce Emefiele in court on Wednesday, November 8, 2023.
