Pictures of Nigeria’s Super Falconets sleeping on chairs and the floor of an airport in Istanbul, Turkey, have surfaced.

The team lost out in the quarter finals of the Under-20 Women’s World Cup by Netherlands on Sunday.
The players were in their way back to Nigeria.

Super Eagles former media officer, Colin Udoh, who shared the photos on his social media page wrote: “Nigeria’s #Falconets have been traveling from Costa Rica since 6:30a.m. on Monday.

“They’re now in Istanbul on a 24-hour layover and sleeping on the airport chairs and floor, or wherever they can find.”
