The management of the Plateau State University, Bokkos, has sanctioned 76 students over their alleged involvement in examination malpractice.
The university’s spokesperson, Masara Kim, made this known via a statement issued on Tuesday, March 17, 2026.
Kim said the move was approved by the university’s senate during its meeting chaired by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Academic, Prof. Moses Galadima.
He added that the move followed the report presented to the senate by its Committee on Examination Misconducts.
According to Kim, the affected students committed the offences during the second semester examination for the 2024/2025 academic session.
Kim stated: “The committee investigated 76 students apprehended during the second semester examination for 2024/2025 academic session.
“Offences such as possession of mobile phones into examination halls, written notes and inscriptions on body parts related to examination questions were committed by the students.
