Police arraign 3 hotel workers for stealing customer’s N900,000 in Benue

The Benue State Police Command, on Wednesday, arraigned three hotel workers before the Chief Magistrates’ Court sitting in Makurdi, the state capital for alleged criminal conspiracy, mischief, and theft.

The hotel workers are Charles Fegha, aged 40, 32-year-old Tersoo Ayen, and Bemdoo Igbahemba, aged 29.

The police prosecutor, Inspector Kwegh Abugh, told the court that the case was reported at the Intelligence Bureau, State Police Headquarters Makurdi by an official of Standard Organisation of Nigeria, Tarnongo Tiza, on December 29, 2022.

Abugh said the informant, on the same date, went to lodge some of his guests at Trust Resort Hotel located at No. 3 Lucy Aluor street, New GRA Makurdi and parked his car in front of the reception before going in to make reservation.

He said the reception was close to the hotel gate where security post CCTV camera could be seen.
