Police arrest 3 traffic robbers, recover pistol

The operatives of the Rapid Response Squad (RRS), Lagos State Police Command, have arrested three suspected traffic robbers and recovered a pistol from the suspects.

The police operatives also recovered four rounds of ammunition from the suspected traffic robbers, who were arrested at Toyota bus-stop, Oshodi, Lagos State.

The Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed the arrest via a statement on Thursday.

Hundeyin said the suspects: Goddey Omuyibo 32, alias Aro Ghetto Boy, Destiny Nwanga 27, alias Aro Smiling God and Ebuka Igwe, 23, alias Aro Do or Die, were arrested on Tuesday.

He stated: “The suspects were arrested following a tip-off from civic-minded Lagosians to the RRS officers who were on routine patrol along Ladipo and Oshodi.
