The Magistrates’ Court sitting in Yaba, Lagos State, has reportedly adjourned the trial of Afrobeat singer, Seun Kuti, to Wednesday, May 24, 2023.

It was gathered that the trial, which was slated for Tuesday, May 23, was adjourned over the Chief Magistrate, Adeola Olatubosun’s absence from the court.

“The trial has been adjourned till tomorrow, May 24, 2023, because the judge is not around, a source told Punch on Tuesday.

The court had, on Thursday, May 18, granted an application for an extension of remand of Kuti until May 22.
