The Kwara State Police Command has confirmed the death of one person in an explosion caused by an improvised explosive device (IED) planted by bandits in Woro, Kaiama Local Government Area of the state.

The incident, which happened on Monday morning, led to the death of a commercial driver, while a nursing mother was injured.
