Police declare ex-Oyo park c’ttee chair, Auxiliary, wanted

The Nigeria Police Force (NPF) has declared the former Chairman of the Oyo State Park Management Disciplinary Committee, Mukaila Lamidi, popularly called Auxiliary, wanted.

The Oyo State Commissioner of Police, Adebowale Williams, declared Auxiliary wanted while speaking with newsmen at the command’s headquarters in Ibadan, the state capital, on Friday, June 2.

Williams said the suspect was declared wanted in connection with cases of attempted murder, causing grievous harm, arms dealing, armed robbery, and kidnapping at Oke-Ogun and Ibarapa areas of Oyo State.

The police commissioner called on the general public to take note and anybody with useful information about his whereabouts to contact the Oyo State Police Command on any of these lines: 08033387701, 08023219552, 07055495413.

The police had, on Tuesday, May 30, raided Diamond Hotel at Alakia, owned by Auxiliary, and arrested 78 members of the park management committee loyal to him.

Various arms and ammunition, cutlasses, charms, and N3.5 million were found in their possession.
