The suspects were allegedly arrested at the residence of Abiola Ibrahim, a member of the Osun State House of Assembly representing Irewole-Isokan Constituency and a member of the Accord Party.
A video circulating online showed Ibrahim explaining the presence of the large number of people at his father’s residence.
However, the circumstances surrounding the arrest and the specific allegations against the suspects remained unclear as of the time of filing this report.
The identities of those arrested were also not immediately available.
The police had yet to issue an official statement confirming the arrests or provide details on the operation.
