The Lagos State Police Command says it has commenced an investigation into the alleged killing of a driver by the officials of the Lagos State Environmental Sanitation and Special Offences Enforcement Unit, popularly known as Taskforce, during a clash in the Mile 2 area of the state.

An X user with the username @DouyeKen, on Tuesday, September 5, 2023, posted a video of the incident and alleged that the driver was killed by Taskforce officials.

The user also advised motorists and passengers to avoid the route.

Reacting, the Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, said an investigation into the killing of the driver has commenced.
