Portable confirms relationship with Alaafin’s widow

Controversial Nigerian singer, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has spoken about a romantic relationship with Queen Damilola, the widow of the late Alaafin of Oyo, Lamidi Adeyemi.

There were rumours that the singer is in a relationship with Damilola Adeyemi.

The rumours emerged after the screenshots of Portable’s conversation with Damilola went viral on social media.

However, the ‘Zazoo Zeh’ crooner, in a recent interview with On Air Personality (OAP), Nedu Wazobia, said the late Alaafin’s wife has been his fan for years.

He added that he would not have been close to Damilola if the traditional ruler, who died in April 2022, was alive.

Portable said: “Is it not Alaafin that owns the child? She is my fan from day one. It was later I heard the king had died. And after king na king.

“You would not have seen me with her if the king was still alive. I no dey follow person wife.”
