The Presidency has announced the disengagement of Fegho John Umunubo from his position as Special Assistant to the President on Digital and Creative Economy, in the Office of the Vice President.

In a statement issued on Monday, by Abiodun Oladunjoye, Director of Information and Public Relations, State House, the Presidency said the disengagement takes immediate effect.

The statement clarified that Umunubo no longer represents the Tinubu administration in any capacity, warning stakeholders and the general public against engaging him on behalf of the government.

“Anyone who interfaces with him in the name of President Tinubu’s administration does so at his or her own risk,” the statement read.

The Presidency further urged stakeholders and constituents in the digital and creative economy, both in Nigeria and abroad, to take note of the development.
