Regina Daniels undergoes drug test

Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has taken a drug test in an effort to clear her name amid widespread speculation and public scrutiny surrounding her personal life, she revealed in an emotional Instagram post on Wednesday.

In the video, Daniels said the decision to undergo the test followed months of intense personal struggles and pressure from social media narratives that labelled her a drug addict.

She described the period as overwhelming but thanked her family, friends and supporters for helping her stay resilient.

The actress said she chose to take the test not only to refute rumours but also for her own peace of mind and accountability to those who look up to her.

The announcement comes amid a highly publicised and bitter estrangement from her husband, billionaire lawmaker Senator Ned Nwoko, with both parties trading serious allegations.

Daniels has accused Nwoko of domestic abuse and coercing her into rehabilitation, while his camp has denied the abuse claims and alleged she has been battling substance use issues, releasing statements and documents they say support their position.

Daniels described the experience as one of self-discovery and growth, saying she intends to move forward stronger and more intentional about her life and future.
