The Niger State chapter of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) has urged the Muslim faithful to continue to pray for the peace and development of the state.
Congratulating the Niger State Governor, Mohammed Bago, and other Muslims in the state on the Eid-el-Kabir celebration, the CAN chairman in the state, Rev. Bulus Dauwa Yohanna, said the people of the state can enjoy peace, growth, and development only when there is security of lives and properties.
Yohanna: “On behalf of the entire Christendom in the state, I congratulate the Governor, Rt. Hon. Umar Bago and millions of Muslim Ummahs as you celebrate this year’s Eid-el-Kabir.

He called on the people of Niger State not to cease in praying for the Catholic Bishop of Kontagora Diocese, Bishop Yohanna, saying “with divine intervention, we will soon overcome the current challenges”.
