Sanwo-Olu, Oyedele, Imoukhuede to headline Invest Lagos Summit 3.0

Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Chairman of the Presidential Committee on Fiscal Policy and Tax Reforms, Taiwo Oyedele, Co-Chairman of the Lagos Finance and Investment Council (LFIC), Aigboje Aig-Imoukhuede, and Chief Executive Officer of Moniepoint Group, Tosin Eniolorunda, have been confirmed as key speakers for the third edition of the Invest Lagos Summit.

The summit, organised by the Lagos State Government through the Ministry of Commerce, Cooperatives, Trade and Investment, is scheduled to hold from June 8 to 9, 2026, in Lagos.

Designed to position Lagos as Africa’s leading destination for investment, trade, innovation and economic partnerships, the two-day event will bring together policymakers, investors, business leaders, development partners and industry experts to explore opportunities for sustainable economic growth.

According to the organisers, discussions at the summit will focus on themes including Lagos as Africa’s Global Gateway, the future of technology and innovation, investment opportunities, urban development, global partnerships, talent and creativity, as well as energy and sustainability.

Participants are expected to examine investment prospects across critical sectors such as technology, infrastructure, energy, manufacturing, finance, creative industries and urban development.

Speaking ahead of the event, the Commissioner for Information and Strategy and Head of the Media Subcommittee, Gbenga Omotoso, said the summit has been structured to deliver practical outcomes capable of attracting increased investment into Lagos State.

He noted that the forum would provide an opportunity to showcase ongoing investments and development projects in transportation, technology, energy, manufacturing, tourism and urban infrastructure while highlighting opportunities available to local and international investors.

“Invest Lagos 3.0 is more than a conference; it is a strategic platform designed to connect investors with opportunities, facilitate meaningful partnerships, and showcase Lagos as Africa’s most attractive investment destination,” Omotoso said.

He added that the summit would bring together government leaders, global investors, development institutions and business executives to explore initiatives capable of driving economic growth, job creation and investment expansion across Lagos and Nigeria.

The summit will also feature investment presentations by state governors, exhibitions by participating organisations, networking sessions, a gala dinner and guided visits to major industrial and infrastructure projects.

Among the sites scheduled for inspection are the Dangote Petroleum Refinery, Lagos Free Zone, Lagos Port and RusselSmith’s advanced manufacturing facility.
