Senate primaries: APC updates list of barred aspirants, removes Murray-Bruce

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has released an updated list of senatorial aspirants not cleared to participate in the party’s Senate primary elections.

The revised list no longer contains the name of the former senator representing Bayelsa East, Ben Murray-Bruce, who was included in the earlier list released by the ruling party on Monday, May 18, 2026.

Delegates, journalists flee as gunshots disrupt Ondo APC senatorial primaries

The party’s National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, in a statement issued on Monday, urged stakeholders to uphold transparency, orderliness, and the integrity of the primary election process.
