Sex scandal: Chrisland student regrets action, apologises

The 10-year-old female student of Chrisland Schools, Lagos State, who was involved in the controversial immoral act with a colleague during a trip to Dubai, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), has apologised for her action.

The female student has also deleted all the videos on her social media apps, Likee and TikTok.

The Star had reported that the video of the incident had gone viral after it was shared by music manager, Ubi Franklin, on his social media accounts.

The 10-year-old girl was videotaped while the sexual act was ongoing.

Her mother, who alleged the girl was raped, accused the management of Chrisland Schools of conducting a pregnancy test on her without parental consent.

The allegations were, however, denied by the school.

She was later suspended by the management of Chrisland Schools, while the Lagos State Government announced the closure of the school over the sexual misconduct.

The state government ordered the reopening of the school last weekend, saying the directive followed a review of the ongoing investigation into the incident which led to the closure of the school.

However, it was gathered that the female student, on her Likee app with over 12,400 fans, last Friday, apologised, saying she regretted her action.

“I made a mistake, now I’m living with the consequences. I regret it, I really do. And I’m sorry,” she stated.

It was further learnt that the 526 dance videos of the 10-year-old girl had been deleted.

It was gathered that the girl had been operating the page for three years before the immoral incident occurred in Dubai, where the students went for a competition.

She equally apologised to her 12,000 followers on TikTok last Thursday.

Taking to the app, the student wrote: “Don’t let your past dictate who you are, but let it be a lesson that strengthens the person you’ll become.”
