Shallipopi accuses Dapper Music of withholding over $1m

Nigerian singer Shallipopi has joined a growing list of Nigerian artistes calling out Dapper Music over alleged unpaid funds.

The singer made the allegation in a series of posts on X, claiming that more than $1 million belonging to him was allegedly still being held by the music company.

“My money wey dey your hand pass $1m and u know,” Shallipopi wrote.

In another post, the singer described Dapper as a “master manipulator” and claimed he had previously warned the music executive about the consequences of his alleged actions.

Shallipopi continued with further accusations against the music executive, alleging that he had manipulated artistes and questioning his dealings with musicians.

He ended one of the posts by referring to Dapper as “the real yahoo boy.”

The allegations come amid growing criticism of Dapper Music from Nigerian artistes, including singer Seyi Vibez, who has also made public allegations concerning money allegedly owed to him.

The claims by Shallipopi remain allegations, and Dapper Music has not been quoted as responding to them.
