Nigerian singer, Oluwatobiloba Daniel Anidugbe, widely known as Kizz Daniel, has been listed as one of the headline performing artistes at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
The Federation of International Football Association (FIFA) made this known via a statement issued on Friday.
The Qatar World Cup begins on November 20 and is scheduled to end on December 18, 2022.
FIFA stated that five artistes would perform at the World Cup, noting that Kizz Daniel would thrill the audience at the fan festival on November 23.
Other singers include United States music producer, Diplo, who is expected to perform on November 22; Nora Fatehi from Canada on November 29, Trinidad Cardona from U.S. on December 1; while Calvin Harris from Scotland will perform on December 10.
FIFA noted: “In less than a week, the FIFA World Cup will kick off and bring excitement to the stadiums of Qatar.
“The FIFA Fan Festival might be even more exciting, as five international, award-winning musicians will perform on the Live Stage as part of the FIFA Sound line-up.

“These artists are all slated to enrich the great programme of the FIFA Fan Festival over the 29 days of the tournament at Doha’s Al Bidda Park, among more than 20 additional top-level entertainers from around the world performing at the event.
“The FIFA Fan Festival will provide new ways for fans to celebrate their shared passion for football while experiencing the best in music, entertainment, local culture, food, games and lifestyle in a true festival environment.”
Reacting to the development via his Instagram page on Friday night, the ‘Buga’ crooner said: “This one is for Africa. This one is for Vado Nation. See you in Qatar World Cup 23/11/2022.”
Kizz Daniel had earlier expressed his wish to perform at the World Cup.
“God I want to perform Buga for World Cup with a mass choir. Help me say amen,” the famous singer had said on his social media accounts.
