The women leader of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Sokoto State, Kulu Rabah, has dumped the party for the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Rabah was received into the APC on Wednesday by the party’s leader in Sokoto, Sen. Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko.
APC governorship candidate, Ahmed Aliyu, was among those who witnessed Rabah’s defection.

The February 25 presidential election was a stiff one between the PDP and APC in Sokoto State, with the PDP winning with a margin less than 5,000.
The results of the National Assembly elections have yet to be announced as of the time of filing this report.
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), on Tuesday, ordered the state Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC), Dr Nura Ali, to stay away from the commission until further notice over the controversy that trailed the February 25 elections.
This came ahead of the governorship and state Assembly elections slated for Saturday, March 11, 2023.
