There was pandemonium in Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital over the weekend as a performance by Nigerian singer, Teniola Akpata, fondly called Teni, was disrupted with gunshots.
In a video which has gone viral on social media, Teni was serenading the crowd with one of her hit songs, Power Rangers, before her performance at a concert was brought to an abrupt end with sporadic gunshots.
The singer and the fun seekers at the concert scampered for safety as the gunshots rented the atmosphere for some minutes.
Teni is well known in the entertainment industry for her afropop hit singles, Millionaire and Uyo Meyo.
