Popular Nigerian singer Tochukwu Ojogwu, fondly called Odumodublvck, and other fans have lashed out at the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) following the Super Eagles’ 1-1 draw with South Africa on Tuesday.
The result has left the Super Eagles on the verge of missing back-to-back World Cups for the first time in history.
Odumodublvck took to X to vent his frustration, describing the NFF as “a terrible organisation.”
Odumodublvck wrote in Pidgin: “NFF is a terrible organization. Back-to-back World Cups. It’s a total disgrace
“Na wicked people full this country I swear. The one thing wey dey give your people joy you dey suffer them. Una be bad people.”

Commenting on the singer’s post, Udemezue Ejike stated: “‘Culture eats strategy for breakfast.’ The persistent impunity, corruption, and lack of accountability within the NFF stifle the immense talent of our players.
“Talent alone cannot thrive without effective structure, competent administration, and proper management. Compounding this problem is the lack of adequate facilities, which further hinders performance.
“Sadly, this is not just a football issue, it reflects a national challenge of poor governance and weak leadership.”
Another X user, Ezekwesiri, wrote: “We can’t just blame NFF (record label) and leave out the players (OdumoduBlvk). This is the poorest ever form the super Eagles have ever been. Easy group, recalcitrant players. No heart! No passion. Both NFF, the coach and players didn’t do well!”
The result in Bloemfontein leaves Nigeria third in Group C with 11 points, six points adrift of leaders South Africa, with just two matches left to play.
This puts the Super Eagles at serious risk of missing consecutive World Cups, having already failed to qualify for the 2022 edition in Qatar.
